MINT STRIPES
Designer Angela Free installed tiles to form horizontal stripes at a guest bath in a San Francisco. "Stripes are a pleasant, graphic design component that may bring movement and pattern into a room, but not in a busy manner," she states. By wrapping the pattern around the space, she opened it up and generated "flow, a borderless space."
SUBDUED BLUE
The powder Room was plain and forgettable until designer Kristen Panitch gave it personality with Cole & Son's Orchid, "the wackiest of all backgrounds in the house." Gilt mirror from Hollyhock.
CLASSIC COMBO
Blue and Iksel's Iznik wallpaper brings an Ottoman touch, although white look classic in several of fashions. The pattern that is tiled pops by Bunny Williams Home thanks to a Sapphire mirror.
